The flame of Santa Marta’s “Juegos Bolivarianos” will take cities of the Caribbean Region



The tour will start on Octobre 30th and will involve Barranquilla and Cartagena

There are less than two months left for the 18th version of the 2017 Santa Marta “Juegos Bolivarianos” will take many cities of the Caribbean Region during the tour of the Olympian Torch. 

The tour will start on October 30 and its first stop will be Caracas (Venezuela), the birth place of Simón Bolívar, who inspired this competition. After that, the tour will get to Bogotá, were protocolary acts will take place at the “Casa de Bolívar” and at the Colombian Olympian Committee headquarters. 

Once in Colombia, the tour will visit different cities of the country, including Barranquilla and Cartagena in the Caribbean Region. It will arrive in Cartagena on November 4th and the on November 9th it will get to Barranquilla, where the flame will be lit. 

On November 11 it will get to Santa Marta, where the games will officially begin.
