Macondo Fest: a tribute to “Gabo” in Valledupar

The Festival “Macondo Fest”, which will be a tribute to Literature Nobel, Gabriel García Márquez, will honor the life and work of the emblematic writer through workshops, book readings and other activities. “Macondo Fest” Agenda March 21: Mural Painting in the historical center and the House of Culture (Casa de la Cultura), at 4 p.m. March 22: Screening of the short film “Macondito” in the Library Rafael Carrillo Luz at 10 a.m. There will also be a discussion about the vallenato culture and García Márquez most famous novel, One Hundred Years of Solitude: “Cien Años de Soledad, un vallenato de 350 páginas”. March 23: On Friday afternoon, photography enthusiasts will be able to capture the macondian landscapes of the historic center, during the “fotomaratón Reflejos de Macondo en el Viejo Valledupar”.
